No, we do not customize the Cub’s weight.
How did you determine 4 pounds was the right weight for the Cubs?
After a lot of research and customer testing, we learned that 4 pounds was the perfect weight to provide the healing touch for gravity, pressure-touch healing in the arms of a person going through Broken Heart Syndrome or Takotsubo Syndrome.
Do all hospitals offer a Comfort Cub to parents who lost a child?
Many hospitals offer a Comfort Cub to a parent who lost an infant. If your hospital does not currently offer a Comfort Cub, please let us know by emailing us at info@thecomfortcub.org
I am a parent who lost a child, how can I get a Comfort Cub?
If you have lost a child, you can request a Comfort Cub by going to the Get Help page and filling out the appropriate form.
Do you sell other accessories for the Cub?
We do not sell accessories, however we do have a companion Feelings book for children.
How much does it cost to ship a Comfort Cub?
We ship individual cubs via USPS Priority Shipping Flat Rate. You may look at the USPS website for rates.
What is your shipping rate for a case of Cubs?
We use FedEx to ship cases of cubs. FedEx rates vary depending upon shipping location.
